Categories
Essential
Required for the site to work. We use a single browser localStorage entry calledineedcloud:consent to remember your choice — without it we'd have to ask you on every visit. We also use ineedcloud:news-topics to remember your news topic choices on this device. There is no third party involved and no tracking.
Analytics (off by default)
If you opt in, we load Google Analytics using measurement ID G-006M6D8SQY. It gives us aggregate stats — top pages, rough referrers, device/browser information and approximate region — so we can understand which guides are useful. It is not loaded until you allow analytics.
Marketing (off by default)
Reserved for any third-party embed that might set its own cookies — e.g. an embedded YouTube tutorial. We don't run advertising or behavioural targeting. If we ever embed something in this category, your "off" choice is honoured by suppressing the embed entirely.
