ineedcloud is a trading style of Actuality One — a small UK consultancy that's spent years sorting out the cloud setup of small businesses and hobby projects. This site exists because the same questions kept coming up, and most of the answers online are either too shallow or written for an audience three sizes bigger than yours.

What we publish

Two things, mostly. First, how-to guides on the cloud setup tasks that are easy to get wrong: turning on MFA properly, structuring shared storage, getting backups that actually restore, choosing the right Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tier, deploying a small-business website on Cloudflare or Vercel without accidentally bankrupting yourself.

Second, a curated news feed. Two or three short updates a week on the cloud changes that actually affect a UK SMB. We summarise each one in a paragraph and explain why it matters. You don't have to read the press release.
